Since 2007, Messina Air Conditioning & Electrical has been helping homes and property managers across Cairns and Far North Queensland stay cool, comfortable, and running smoothly. Our technicians are experienced across air conditioning installation, repairs, servicing, cleaning, and maintenance work, while our qualified electricians handle a wide range of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. All of our technicians hold the appropriate trade qualifications, and our apprentices are supported through their training under the guidance of our management team and senior technicians.

Our work is about you. We can offer warranty repairs for leading brands including Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, and Rinnai, combining trusted products with quality workmanship and honest advice. We book appointments at times that suit you, communicate clearly throughout the job, and always clean up after ourselves. Paul Messina Director

Paul has almost 20 years’ experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry, and started Messina Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in 2007. He is a qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic and Electrician.


Paul has a wealth of experience in domestic and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical systems, and has experience with a wide range of air conditioning systems including split systems and cassette units, wall mounted systems, package units and under ceiling units.

Rion Marsh
Service Manager

Rion has worked in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry for 20 years. Rion is a qualified Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, and is currently completing his qualifications to become an electrician. Rion has experience across industrial, commercial, and domestic air conditioning, and industrial and commercial refrigeration.


As Service Manager, Rion oversees our Technical team and provides guidance and support to our technicians and apprentices.

Jarod Strooper Electrical Service Manager

Jarod brings over 8 years’ experience as an Electrician to our team. Jarod is currently completing his Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration to become a dual-qualified tradesman.


Jarod has worked across all aspects of electrical work in residential, commercial and industrial settings. As Electrical Service Manager, Jarod oversees our Electrical team.

Soula

Soula is the bright and friendly voice you hear when you book in a job with us. Soula manages our service schedule, ensuring that our technicians are at the right place at the right time. Always happy to help, Soula enjoys making sure that our customers are our priority.

When your air conditioner isn’t working, and it needs a new part, Sue is our expert problem solver! Managing all of our parts ordering and warranty claims, Sue works closely with our customers to make sure their air conditioners are back up and running as quickly as possible.

Sam is our office all-rounder! From answering customer enquiries, to booking in jobs, finalising quotes, and sending our invoices, Sam makes sure that all aspects of our office operations run smoothly.

Our team of Technicians bring a wealth of experience to our services. Working in the Cairns region for over 20 years, our team know the local environment and deliver excellent customer service. Our technicians specialise in home and office air conditioning and electrical services. We can provide a full suite of services to meet your cooling needs.


At Messina Air Conditioning & Electrical, we take pride in training the next generation of air conditioning and electrical apprentices. Our apprentices work closely with our experienced technicians to learn their trade and are provided with upskilling and training opportunities as their apprenticeship progresses.
